A UNIQUE CULINARY EXPERIENCE

MEET SIMY MATHEWS

Born in Kerala, raised in Dubai, a citizen of New Zealand and currently dividing my time between Dubai and Belgrade since 2018 - I like to think of myself as a Citizen of the World; exploring cuisines and creating flavors for a discerning audience.

Cooking for me is deeply personal, where I imagine and recreate the food I have known and experienced through my travels. I would like to share these experiences and my food with people who are interested in hearing my stories - that is the essence of the supper clubs and pop-up events I curate. My food events are interactive dining experiences with a menu that is both seasonal and country specific (based on the location of the event). Each course is carefully curated keeping in mind what is in season and each dish is explained with its history. If there is a local dish that is popular, I like to incorporate that into the menu adding my own twist to it.
